The Announcements
17th & 18th January, 2026
1. Archbishop John Rodrigues will administer the sacrament of Confirmation to 104 candidates from our parish on Saturday, 24th January at the 10 am Mass. Kindly keep our candidates in prayer.
2. Our next Pre-Baptismal Catechesis will be held on 29th and 30th January, 7 pm onwards in the conference room. Expecting couples are requested to register for the same, in the parish office, in the early stages of pregnancy itself to avoid inconvenience later.
3. The Environment Cell will be collecting old bible diaries on 18th January, from 9:30 am to 12 noon at the church entrance and in the community hall. These will be transformed into beautiful spiritual art. Additionally, they will also have their monthly dry waste collection.
4. Parishioners working in HR, involved in recruitment or having any job openings are requested to meet with the Employment Cell members who will be seated in the Prayatna office after all Masses today. Kindly oblige, as your support will help someone take meaningful steps towards employment.
5. In celebration of the Sunday of the Word of God (25th January), the Bible Cell is organizing “Bible Day Out” on Monday, 26th January and the “Parish Zonal Bible Quiz” on Sunday, 1st February. Kindly refer to the notice board for further details.
6. To celebrate Christian Unity Week, the Inter-Religious Dialogue Cell is organizing a special prayer service, inviting leaders of Christian communities residing in our vicinity, this Thursday at 6 pm in the conference room. Additionally, on Republic Day, they will be organizing a panel discussion on the topic “True Freedom stands on Unity, Respect and Harmony” at 6 pm in the conference room. All are invited.
7. St. Anne International School is happy to introduce PLAYGROUP for the academic year 2026-27. Interested parents whose children are 2 years old as of 1st January 2026 may visit the school office for further enquiries.
8. Our parish councillors and SCC animators will be visiting you to distribute the Parish Family Id cards. You are invited to use your Family Id from this card to enter your mobile numbers in the parish census data bank. Once this is done, you will receive an OTP which will enable you to make online contributions to the Lourdes Community Fund as well as receive receipts for the payment made.
