8th & 9th August, 2026
1. The Parish Fathers express their heartfelt gratitude to each of you for the warm wishes and appreciation extended on the occasion of Vianney day; do continue to pray for them. This Sunday’s collection is earmarked for the upkeep of the retired and ailing clergy.
2. Saturday, 15th August is the solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary – a holy day of obligation. Masses will be celebrated as per the Sunday schedule. The national flag hoisting ceremony will take place at 7:45 am in the basketball court area. The parish office will remain closed.
3. The Inter-Religious Dialogue cell is organizing a Panel Discussion on “Faith in Action: Building Peace in a Polarized India" on Thursday, 13th August at 5.30pm in the school Conference Hall. To register kindly refer to the notice board.
4. Our next Pre-Baptismal Catechesis will be held on 27th and 28th August, at 7 pm in the school conference room. Expecting couples are requested to register for the same, in the parish office, in the early stages of pregnancy itself.
5. Lourdes Sports Committee is organising Zonal Rapid Chess Tournament for our parishioners on the 26th August 2026. To promote sports in our parish, LSC is seeking sponsors to support upcoming events. You may contribute your sponsorship at the Parish Office.
6. The Employment Cell Members will be available every Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Prayatna Office to accept registrations from job seekers and employers.
