The Announcements

1. The Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) will meet on Saturday, 7th February at 7:30 pm in the conference room.

2. Monday, 2nd February is the feast of the Presentation of Our Lord. We will have the blessing of candles in front of the Blessed Sacrament Chapel before the 6 am Mass followed by procession to church.

3. Tuesday, 3rd February is the memorial of St. Blaise. There will be blessing of throats at all Masses.

4. The novena in preparation for our parish feast will commence on Thursday, 5thFebruary. Guest preachers will break the Word at the 5:30 pm and 7 pm Masses on weekdays and at the 10:30 am Mass on Sunday. Our communities will be setting up food and games stalls during these days. Do participate in large numbers during this time of spiritual renewal and fellowship.

5. Parishioners who wish to put up stalls on the Parish Feast Day (14th February) are requested to collect the form from the parish office and submit it duly filled by 6th February.

6. Please note that the Employment Cell will now be available every Wednesday from 7 pm to 8 pm at the Prayatna Office. Parishioners working in HR, recruitment, or having job openings are requested to send a message on the Employment Cell WhatsApp number displayed on the notice board and register the job details using the link shared by the team. Kindly oblige as your support can help someone move closer to meaningful employment.

7. The Christian Family Movement along with the Family Cell will be organizing a Mass for the sick and the homebound on Thursday, 12th February at 4 pm. The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion will visit and invite those on their list. Parishioners who wish to offer their vehicles to transport the sick may kindly submit their contact details in the parish office by 9thFebruary.

8. BASCA – Orlem unit is organizing a picnic to Madh Island for the senior citizens of our parish on Monday, 16th February. Passes will be available in the church compound, this Monday onwards after the evening Masses.

9. On the occasion of World Marriage Day, the Family Cell invites married couples for Date Night – an evening of fun, dance and dinner, on 15th February. Registration on first come first served basis. Kindly refer to the notice board for further details.

10. Please see the notice board for details regarding the Volleyball and Throwball tournaments for parishioners organized by the Lourdes Sports Committee.
