24th & 25th January, 2026
1. Monday, 26th January is Republic Day. Masses will be celebrated as per the weekday schedule. The national flag will be hoisted at 7:15 am in the basketball court area. The parish office will remain closed.
2. Our next Pre-Baptismal Catechesis will be held this Thursday and Friday, 7 pm onwards in the conference room. Expecting couples are requested to register for the same, in the parish office, in the early stages of pregnancy itself to avoid inconvenience later.
3. In celebration of the Sunday of the Word of God, the Bible Cell is organizing “Bible Day Out” on Monday, 26th January and the “Parish Zonal Bible Quiz” on Sunday, 1st February. Kindly refer to the notice board for further details.
4. The Living Waters Prayer Group has set up stalls selling bibles and other spiritual literature after all Masses today. Kindly patronize.
5. On Republic Day, the Inter Religious Dialogue Cell will be organizing a panel discussion on the topic “True Freedom stands on Unity, Respect and Harmony”at 6 pm in the conference room. All are invited.
6. Parishioners who wish to put up stalls on the Parish Feast Day (14thFebruary) are requested to collect the form from the parish office and submit it duly filled by 6thFebruary.
7. Please note that the Employment Cell will now be available every Wednesday from 7 pm to 8 pm at the Prayatna Office. Parishioners working in HR, recruitment, or having job openings are requested to send a message on the Employment Cell WhatsApp number displayed on the notice board and register the job details using the link shared by the team. Kindly oblige as your support can help someone move closer to meaningful employment.
8. The Christian Family Movement along with the Family Cell will be organizing a Mass for the sick and the homebound on Thursday, 12th February at 4 pm. The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion will visit and invite those on their list. Parishioners who wish to offer their vehicles to transport the sick may kindly submit their contact details in the parish office by 9thFebruary.
9. The Bombay Catholic Sabha – Orlem Unit is organizing a free eye check-up camp and blood sugar test on Sunday, 8th February in the Nihar hall. Registration on first come first served basis. Kindly give your names in the BCS office during office hours. Additionally. they will be conducting the second camp for the Government Senior Citizen cards, this Wednesday onwards.
10. Mt. Carmel School (ICSE), Malad (W) is seeking qualified and committed teachers for English and Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). Interested candidates may kindly contact the school office for further details.
11. Those struggling with alcohol addiction can get free, timely and reliable help from the Alcoholics Anonymous Orlem Group which meets twice a week at St. Anne's High School. Please refer to the poster on the notice board for meeting details and helpline numbers
