The Announcements

1. His Grace Archbishop John Rodrigues and His Eminence Cardinal Oswald Gracias will celebrate the solemn Eucharist to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of our church building on Saturday, 6thJune at 5:30 pm. This will be followed by a short choral recitation and the release of our new Parish Hymnal, the Orlem Coffee Table Book and the Sociological Survey of the Tamil Community.

2. Students of Std. X are required to register for the Pre-Confirmation programme by 7th June. The link for the registration form has been shared with the parish councilors. Those who have completed the Pre-Confirmation programme last year should not register again.

3. The Parish Youth Council (PYC) is organizing a blood donation camp under the aegis of Holy Family Hospital, Bandra, next Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm in the Nihar Hall. Health permitting, you are encouraged to support this noble initiative.

4. The Bombay Catholic Sabha – Orlem Unit in collaboration with the Christian Development Association is organizing a mega camp for the authentication of marriage certificates issued by the church on 23rdMay, 9:30 am onwards, in the school conference room. Kindly make the best use of this opportunity. Please refer to the notice board for registration details.

5. We are delighted to announce the excellent results of our schools at this year’s SSC and HSC examinations:

· St. Anne’s High School and Jr. College (SSC) – 100%; (HSC) Commerce – 99.41%, Science – 100%

· Carmel of St. Joseph (SSC) – 100%

· St. Joseph’s School (SSC) – 100%

We congratulate the management, principals, staff, students and parents of the respective schools on this splendid achievement.

6. Kindly note that the Counselling services held on Tuesdays in the parish office will not be available during the month of May.

7. Please note that the Environment Cell will not be having the dry waste collection this month.
