Report on Tamil Confirmation Retreat: 9th to 11th September, 2024

Our church organized a Retreat for the Tamil Confirmation Students from September 9th to 11th, 2024, at the Don Bosco Yuva Centre in Karjat. This retreat successfully engaged 80 students with the inspiring theme, "Identify, Transform, and Rise Up to Christ" (ITR). Surrounded by the beauty of nature, the Don Bosco Yuva Centre provided an ideal backdrop for spiritual reflection, rejuvenation, and growth, fostering an atmosphere of peace and connection with God.

Retreat Program Highlights

The retreat featured a thoughtfully structured program with a blend of spiritual teachings, worship, and community-building activities designed to enrich the participants’ faith journey.

  • Prayer and Reflection: Each day began with rosary and meditation sessions, guiding the students into a deeper communion with God. The serene environment made these moments of reflection especially meaningful.

  • Interactive Spiritual Activities: Students engaged in action songs, spiritual games, and ice-breaking activities that reinforced the retreat's theme in a fun and engaging way, fostering a sense of joy and community among the participants.

  • Adoration and Holy Mass: These sacred moments allowed participants to come together in worship and reflection, strengthening their personal connection with Christ.

Day-by-Day Breakdown

Shanel led sessions on identity in faith, encouraging participants to reflect on their relationship with God and their place in the Church.

Their contributions created a joyful and vibrant atmosphere, fostering a deep sense of community and enriching the participants' worship experience.
